Miss Jenni - Owner/Instructor
Jenni has been dancing for 25 years. She has trained with renowned choreographers in Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Lyrical. She has been teaching all styles of dance for 10 years, 5 of those years right here in Winter Haven. She has won numerous dance & choreography awards throughout her dance career.
Jenni represents professionalism and will strive to create a fun and exciting experience for her students.
Miss Emily - Ballet Instructor
Miss Emily has a love for all fine arts, especially dance and musical theatre. She received a BFA in dance from Wayne State University and has also performed in numerous musicals. Some of her favorite roles include Ti Moune (Once on This Island), Cinderella (Into the Woods), and Diana (A Chorus Line.) She has performed in works by Stephen K. Stone, Josh Hilberman, J.M. Rebudal, and Paul Taylor. Miss Emily is very excited to be teaching again and is happy to be a part of Jenni's Dance Company!
JDC CURRICULUM
Creative Movement - Ages 2 - 4
Introduces children to movement, music, rhythm & discipline.
Ballet - Ages 5 & up
Focuses on proper body placement, alignment, flexibility, strength, leaps & turns. These skills are the foundation for all styles and levels of dance.
Tap - Ages 5 & up
Combines rhythm and Broadway style tap. Making "music with your feet".
Jazz - Ages 5 & up
We use your favorite music to create a fun high energy class emphasizing technique such as leaps & pirouettes.
Lyrical/Contemporary - Ages 7 & up
Fusion of ballet & jazz technique bound by the expression of the dancer's inner emotion.
Hip Hop - Ages 5 & up
We cover the newest hop hop moves from the East and West Coasts.
Musical Theatre - Ages 5 & up
A combination of classic jazz & performance styles to your favorite show tunes.
Tumbling - Ages 5 & up
This class focuses on the basic techniques of tumbling skills which strengthen the core body. Balance and coordination combine with basic skills such as cartwheels and backbends will be stressed.
